CDL Truck Driver Training


Summary

This 10-week program offers students the opportunity to gain valuable skills and prepares students for the Class A Commercial Driver Permit and Commercial Driver License (CDL) exams. Instruction includes theory and practical hands-on behind-the-wheel operation of tractor trailers preparing students to safely operate tractor trailer vehicles on the road to and from pickup and delivery points.

Requirements

Minimum age to enroll is 18.

Enrolled students must have a valid NC State Driver's License.

CDL Learner's Permit: All students must obtain their CDL Learner’s Permit within the first two weeks of the program. The permit exam costs approximately $46.00 and must be paid directly to the DMV.

DOT Physical and Drug Test: Students are required to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Health screenings will be scheduled for enrolled students, and the costs are covered in your registration fees.
