Explore the fundamentals of metalsmithing and complete a sterling silver ring band in this 3 hour workshop. Students will gain a basic understanding of how to solder with an oxy acetylene torch and use a variety of metal forming tools such as hammers and mandrels. As a class we will work step by step to measure our ring size and then fabricate our rings out of sheet metal. No previous experience in metal work necessary. CEU: 0.3
